The CCC Foundation has taken a step toward the future. To continue assisting in securing the future of CCC students, the CCC Foundation has embarked on a Generations of Impact campaign. This is a forward-thinking project with student success and support at the core. The $25 million initiative will allow CCCF to fulfill our mission long-term by providing a permanent resource for the Foundation and once fully endowed will allow even greater opportunity to impact students and programs at CCC for generations to come.

Making a Difference Today for Tomorrow -
Central Community College (CCC) is interwoven throughout our family's history and we are proud to say that many of us are a CCC alum. As the College has been for thousands, it has been an integral part of our educational journeys. From Alan's history as a student at the college to interim campus president of the Grand Island Campus to his three sisters (Susan, Chris, and Cindy) graduating from CCC to the following generation (Chris, Kendall, Michael) and extended family members taking classes through the college, the knowledge and instruction gained from Central Community College has been invaluable. Our family has found not only the importance of a postsecondary education, but a place at Central to explore interests and to embark on both educational and professional careers.
Whether as a student, alumni, or proud CCC supporter, we recognize the benefits of a class, a certificate, a diploma, or a degree from CCC. Central Community College has a resounding impact on individuals and our communities as well as business and industry. Investing in education benefits all of us.

Generations of Impact Campaign
In the spring of 2021, the Central Community College Foundation conducted a feasibility study to determine whether they should launch a $25 million-dollar “Generations of Impact” (GOI) fundraising project. The focus was planned gifts, talking to donors about their passions and leaving a legacy. Nearly 95% of the participants believed the campaign was worthy of their support.
To further enhance and support Central Community College’s impact on our 25-county area, the Foundation has embarked on this planned giving campaign for the future. The GOI goal was set at $25 million of which 32% or $8 million will be directed toward an administrative endowment to cover 100% of net operating expense of the Foundation. This will allow the Foundation to focus on serving donors and assisting students in fulfilling their educational dreams through funding of scholarships, programs, and initiatives.
We began our discussions with donors in January of 2022 and have now reached the half-way milestone of over $12.5 million in deferred and expectant committed gifts from donor’s estate plans, wills, and trusts. We believe the impact upon the Foundation, Central Community College, and most importantly our students, will be long term and in perpetuity. We hope to reach our goal by July of 2024.
