2 GREAT WAYS YOU CAN LEAVE A LEGACY
With just a few words, you can make a huge difference.
It’s true! Your support of the Central Community College Foundation can last far beyond your lifetime—and it only takes a few minutes to make it happen. Here are two popular ways to make your dedication continue for generations:
1. INCLUDE US IN YOUR WILL OR LIVING TRUST.
How do I set it up? Add as little as one sentence (often referred to as “bequest language”) saying you want to support us. With the help of your estate planning attorney or your will-planning website, you can give a specific amount of cash or securities, a piece of property or a percentage of your estate.
What if I need to change it? No problem! You can alter your will or trust whenever you like. Even so, there are great benefits to informing us of your gift: We can ensure that it is used exactly as you wish (just fill out our gift intention form), and you become eligible to join a community of other dedicated givers who make up our legacy society.
2. NAME THE CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION AS A BENEFICIARY OF A RETIREMENT ACCOUNT, LIFE INSURANCE POLICY OR COMMERCIAL ANNUITY.
How do I set it up? Contact your retirement plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution for a change-of-beneficiary form or ask how you can change beneficiaries online. On the form, list the percentage you would like us to receive.
What if I need to change it? You can modify beneficiary designations at any time. Review them every two to three years, because your assets may never reach your intended recipients if you did not keep the beneficiary designations up to date.

Diana Watson's heartfelt dedication to Central Community College (CCC) is nothing short of inspiring. Her journey with CCC began almost three decades ago, and since then, she has become an integral part of this vibrant educational community.
As the current regional director of the Holdrege Center and international studies coordinator, Diana's influence extends beyond the boundaries of the learning center. She understands the transformative power of community colleges, both for individuals and the communities they serve. From early college students to those who are apprehensive coming through the door to those that find challenges as they work towards their educational goals, Diana connects with these students to ensure they have a safe, welcoming environment where they have an opportunity to succeed.
Diana's impact is felt in the stories of those who were once told they wouldn't succeed but found the courage to walk through CCC's doors and achieve success. Through her unwavering commitment, she creates a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. The Holdrege Center has allowed her to forge personal connections with students, enabling her to witness firsthand the profound influence CCC has on their lives.
“I’ve seen the difference we’ve (CCC) made and this has inspired me to want to help others pursue their goals in the future” stated Diana.
Diana has seen the difference that Central has on a student’s personal growth and community strength. She has also witnessed the employment opportunities that students gain through their CCC education, solidifying her belief in the institution's role in building brighter futures. Reflecting on her own journey and the countless others she's witnessed, Diana has chosen to leave a lasting legacy—a heartfelt gift to the CCC Foundation upon her passing.
In her own words, Diana beautifully captures the essence of philanthropy: "When I was younger, I didn't think I would ever be considered a philanthropist as I can't give large amounts. But, I have learned that small amounts of giving over time add up and that I can give something to make a large impact."
