The Heart of CCC

Every day at Central Community College, lives are being changed. Students walk through our doors carrying big dreams, and often, heavy burdens. They find encouragement here because of the people who make CCC more than just a college. They find you. As employees, you are the Heart of CCC. Your work, your care, and your generosity keep this college strong. When you choose to give through the employee campaign, you do more than provide financial support. You give hope, encouragement, and confidence, gifts that really aren’t measured in dollars, but on student success. This year, as we launch the Heart of CCC campaign, we invite you to join your colleagues in making a gift. Together, we can open doors, ease burdens, and change lives. Together, we are the Heart of CCC.

Heart of CCC Employee Appeal FAQs
Please reach out with any questions we haven’t covered.
How do I make my gift? You can fill out your personalized pledge card, place it in the envelope and give it to your Campus Champion or you can give here.
Do I have to give through payroll deduction? No, you do not have to. Checks or online gifts are accepted.
The pledge card says pledges are continuous unless you initiate other arrangements. What does that mean? In an attempt to make things easier, if you are a 12-month payroll deduction donor, your pledge will continue from year to year starting this last year, 2025. Each year you will get a personalized pledge card giving you a formal opportunity to change the value of the pledge or discontinue the pledge if you need to.
When does my payroll deduction start? Pledges made during this campaign for payroll deduction will start in January 2026. If you make arrangements for a one-time deduction, that amount will be deducted from one check in February, 2026.
What did I pledge or donate last year? Your personalized pledge card contains this information.
Who has access to my giving information? Only you and the Foundation Office have access to your personal giving information. This information is not shared with Campus Champions or anyone else.
I have a multi-year pledge. How can I pledge it and forget it? We have discontinued the multiple-year pledges in favor of annual pledges that are continuous until we are told otherwise. You will have the formal opportunity every year to change this pledge.
What if I already have a multi-year pledge? If you currently have a multi-year pledge, we have grandfathered your commitment until that pledge is complete. You should be able to find most of this information on your personalized card.
What are the campaign incentives?
- All gifts of $120 or more qualify for a Heart of CCC t-shirt
- Recipients of the Heart of CCC t-shirt may wear it with jeans on Giving Tuesday (12/02/25)
- The team that has the highest percentage of giving will win a traveling trophy and street cred for 2026. If there is a tie, the team with the highest percentage of donors who qualified for a t-shirt will win.
- If 75% or more of my campus or division (Admin/Centers) gives, the Foundation will allocate an extra Heart of CCC grant to us to be awarded this year to the program or opportunity of our choice that impacts our students. Campus champions will lead the selection of the opportunity.
- If 75% or more of my campus or division gives, we all qualify to wear a CCC shirt with jeans on Giving Tuesday (12/02/25)
How did I get on a team? You were chosen by your Campus Champion. The Foundation Office supplied the Champions with directory information for their campus. Champions selected their teams.
How long is the campaign? While the Foundation Office will accept gifts any time of year, the Heart of CCC Employee Campaign will open October 1 and close October 30. All prizes and incentives will be based on this time period.
"Over the years, I’ve seen many students face financial challenges. Many work long hours just to make ends meet, often putting their education second. A donation of any size can help relieve that burden and give a student the support they need to stay on track and graduate."
