The Central Community College Foundation's annual ProAm Golf Tournament began in 1990 to raise scholarship funds for students attending Central Community College. The tournament currently rotates between four of the college's largest cities: Columbus, Grand Island, Hastings, and Kearney.

2023 ProAm Golf Tournament - Riverside Golf Club, Grand Island
33RD ANNUAL CCC FOUNDATION PRO-AM GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 33rd Annual CCC Foundation Pro-Am Golf Tournament was held on September 18, 2023, at the Riverside Country Club in Grand Island, Nebraska. The event raised $20,000 for scholarships benefitting students on the Grand Island campus.
CCC Foundation hosted 27 amateur teams (108 individuals). A Pro format was used where four Pros were stationed at various tee boxes on the course. The teams could opt to take the Pro’s shot on those. Pros who participated were Caleb Malenke – Quarry Oaks (Ashland), Erik Kovarik – Happy Hollow (Omaha), Ky Molholm and Ryan Douglas – Lochland Country Club (Hastings).

The 32nd Annual CCC Foundation Pro-Am Golf Tournament was held on September 12, 2022, at the Elks Country Club in Columbus, Nebraska. The event raised $30,000 for scholarships benefitting students on the Columbus campus.
CCC Foundation hosted 31 amateur teams (124 individuals). A Pro format was used where four Pros were stationed at various tee boxes on the course. The teams could opt to take the Pro’s shot on those. The 31st Annual CCC Foundation Pro-Am Golf Tournament was held on September 13, 2021, for the first time, at Awarii Dunes near Kearney, Nebraska. The event raised $29,000 for scholarships at the CCC-Kearney Center.
CCC Foundation hosted 34 amateur teams (136 individuals). A Pro format was used where five Pros were stationed at various tee boxes on the course. The teams could opt to take the Pro’s shot on those. 30TH ANNUAL CCC FOUNDATION PRO-AM GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 30th Annual CCC Foundation Pro-Am Golf Tournament was held on September 14, 2020 at the Lochland Country Club in Hastings, Nebraska. The first Pro-Am was held in October 1991 at Lochland Country Club with 22 professionals and 88 amateurs. The 1991 event generated $10,000 in student support.
This year, we welcomed 36 amateur teams (144 individuals). A new Pro format was used where six Pros were stationed at various tee boxes on the course. The teams could opt to take the Pro’s shot on those. Pros who participated were David Honnens – NE Section of PGA, Josh Reinertson – Gibbon, Rylee Reinertson – Norman, Oklahoma, Steve Friesen – Firethorn Golf Club, Lincoln, Caleb Malenke – Quarry Oakes Golf Club and Jim White – The Fairways, Lincoln.
Jack Crowley, former CCCF executive director, tee’d off for the opening shot of the tournament. The 2020 event generated $25,000 in student support.

The 29th Annual CCC Foundation Pro-Am Golf Tournament was held on September 16, 2019, at the Riverside Golf Club in Grand Island, Nebraska. We welcomed 29 teams, each consisting of four amateur golfers and one professional golfer playing alongside each team. Through sponsorships, donations and golf registrations, we raised over $22,000 to support Grand Island Campus Scholarships. In 2020, the 30th Anniversary event will return to Lochland Country Club in Hastings, Nebraska, and students on the Hastings Campus will benefit from the final Pro-Am Golf Tournament fundraiser.
