"Pay What You Can" Soup Luncheon
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week takes place this fall from November 11-18. The week is designed to educate your community, draw attention to the problem of poverty, and recruit new volunteers and supporters for local anti-poverty agencies. The Food Pantry will be participating in this with our annual “Pay What You Can” Soup Luncheon. This meal will be served out of the Commuter Kitchen (old concession stand) in the Dawson Building on the Hastings Campus on Thursday, November 16th from 11:30 AM- 1:30 PM. This event is open to everyone. We will also be collaborating with our Media Arts students for a poster series that you will see around campus representing the difficulties of poverty and hunger within our own communities. Keep an eye out for those on campus that week.
